ICM’s mission to the Philippines, from June 23 to July 2, was a journey of empowerment, celebration, and spiritual growth. Our ICM representatives, Ps. Derwin and Ps. Tony Phang, are traveling early tomorrow morning, June 23, to Mindanao to kick off a fruitful mission.
In the bustling district of Ludhiana, under the dedicated leadership of Pastor Satish and Ps Kuldip, ICM Ludhiana is making significant strides in spreading the teachings of the Bible. With a team of nine passionate trainers at the helm, they have embarked on the ICM BSIB program with unwavering enthusiasm.
29 June, 2024. Praise God for the transformative work of the ICM ministry in the tribal village of Basak, nestled high in the mountains of Mindanao. This remote community has witnessed a powerful move of God, highlighted by the recent visit of Pastor Derwin, the ICM International Coordinator, who came to meet Pastor Tiboy and see the work firsthand.
On June 29, 2024, a significant event took place in Perak. At 10 a.m., 22 individuals participated in a water baptism ceremony, symbolizing their commitment to the Christian faith. The ceremony, filled with emotion and joy, marked an important step in their spiritual journeys.
In a significant step towards enhancing spiritual growth and leadership development, a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on June 18, 2024, between the International Christian Mission Malaysia (ICMM) and the Borneo Evangelical Mission (BEM). The signing ceremony, held at the BEM headquarters, marked a pivotal moment in the journey towards nurturing a more empowered and spiritually enriched community.
From the 17th to the 28th of May 2024, a dedicated team from ICM Malaysia visited Sri Lanka to further the ministry’s work. The team, consisting of Ps. Edwin and Ps. Derwin from Malaysia, accompany by Ps. Suhin from ICM Southern India, embarked on a mission for discipleship, introduce the ICM ministries and the BSIB program.
On May 19, 2024, a session of the Bible School in a Backpack (BSIB) took place at Church of SIB Kolompok Rompon Tambunan. Led by our ICM Trainer Pastor Nurimah Binsing, the class brought together five enthusiastic young students eager to deepen their spiritual understanding and practice.
On May 18, 2024, the ICM Sarawak (SIC) Operation Group held a significant gathering and prayer meeting at Gereja Injil Sepenuh (GIS) in Kota Sentosa. This meeting aimed to foster unity and spiritual growth among the independent churches involved in ICM activities.
The BSIB (Bible School in a Backpack) Program recently commenced its Module 1 training at Agape Christian Fellowship in Arua, Uganda. Conducted by Sister Annastazia, this program brought together about 20 young people eager to deepen their faith and understanding of Christian principles.
The first group of participants successfully completed Module 1 of the BSIB (Bible School in a Backpack) program in Namibia. The training was conducted at the Gospel Missions Church in the month of May 2024, it was led by Rev Pooshani with approximately 24 participants.
Bible School in a Backpack (BSIB) is making a big difference in many places, including at GNF Matang Sarawak, where Module 1 classes are happening. About 30 students have signed up for this class, and they’re meeting every week to study God’s word. Recently, on April 28, 2024, they were diving into a chapter called “Establishing an Effective Prayer Life.”
