A Journey of Faith and Learning @ Uganda
The BSIB (Bible School in a Backpack) Program recently commenced its Module 1 training at Agape Christian Fellowship in Arua, Uganda. Conducted by Sister Annastazia, this program brought together about 20 young people eager to deepen their faith and understanding of Christian principles.
Throughout the training, participants explored essential aspects of their faith. They delved into the assurance of salvation, gained insights into who Jesus is, and understood the profound significance of the cross. Additionally, they learned how to pray, build their faith, and trust in God more deeply. The curriculum also covered knowledge about the Holy Spirit and the principles of Kingdom Living.
The young attendees demonstrated a strong desire to know God’s Word, motivated by the challenging and difficult times they face. Recognizing their need to depend on God in their lives, they engaged actively in the program, which was both inspiring and transformative.
The transformation witnessed during this program has been very encouraging. The dedication and willingness of Sister Annastazia to teach and guide these young individuals in their spiritual journey have been invaluable. Her contribution has left a lasting impact on the participants, fostering a deeper connection with their faith.
As the program concludes, gratitude is extended to Sister Annastazia for her dedication and service. May God bless her and all the young people who took part in this enriching journey of faith.
In the same month, Bishop Francis Okeny led a significant spiritual training session at Okol Wanglango PAG in Lamwo district, Uganda. This recent class, part of the BSIB Module 1 program, welcomed over 50 participants who sought to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith.
The training focused on the core message of the Good News of Christ and the profound meaning of the cross. Bishop Okeny emphasized the importance of faith and trust in God in all aspects of life. Participants engaged deeply with the material, gaining new insights and strengthening their spiritual foundations.
A highlight was the water baptism of 50 individuals. This sacred act, symbolizing the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, marked a new beginning for these believers, signifying their rebirth into a life committed to following Christ.
Moreover, the session witnessed four individuals dedicating their lives to Jesus Christ, marking a pivotal moment in their spiritual journey. Hallelujah! Glory be to God for the remarkable work being done in Lamwo district, bringing people closer to the divine and nurturing their faith.
