Faithful Ministries in Arua, Uganda

Under the faithful leadership of Sister Annastazia, the ICM Uganda ministry team continues to make a profound spiritual impact in the rural regions of Northern Uganda, especially in Arua. With unwavering dedication, she and her team serve on the front lines bringing the hope of the Gospel to some of the most underserved and spiritually hungry communities.

Their outreach spans multiple areas:

  • Hospital Ministry:
Visiting the sick and their families, the team ministers with compassion in hospitals and health clinics. They offer prayer for healing, comfort for those suffering, and encouragement to those caring for loved ones. Many testimonies of peace, healing, and even salvation have emerged from these bedside visits. We praise God for the healing power demonstrated at Kuluva hospital, 13 souls accepted Christ!
  • Prison Ministry:
Sister Annastazia and her team also extend their ministry behind prison walls, bringing hope to the inmates. Through regular visits, they preach the Word, offer one-on-one counseling, and distribute Bibles. The aim is not only to bring spiritual healing but to plant seeds of transformation and restoration. Within 3 months, 36 prisoners received Christ and are now undergoing foundational discipleship. Glory to God!
  • Door to Door Visitations:
Recognizing the importance of relationships and pastoral care, the team regularly visits the homes of church members, new believers, and those facing life’s challenges. Their visits also extend to reaching out to women working in the fields and at the well, meeting people where they are in everyday life. These moments provide opportunities for prayer, spiritual support, and follow-up discipleship, ensuring no one is left behind in their faith journey. Recently, Sister Annastazia and her team visited Ambeko Village and Onduparaka, where, by God’s grace, 24 people surrendered their lives to Christ. Praise the Lord!

In addition to these outreach efforts, Sister Annastazia is deeply committed to teaching and training.

  • She leads ICM’s Bible School in a Backpack (BSIB), an ongoing discipleship program that brings Bible school-level training directly to believers in rural areas. Through these mobile classes, participants are grounded in Scripture, equipped in ministry, and prepared to serve effectively in their churches and communities.
  • She also leads the Ministry of the Word to Teenagers, a growing movement focused on reaching and discipling the next generation. Through youth gatherings, teaching sessions, and personal mentoring, teenagers are taught biblical values, encouraged to pursue God’s calling, and empowered to become strong witnesses in their schools and villages. We thank God for the teens’ weekly bible studies where teenagers are equipped with the Word of God and they can share the Word of God with their peers.

This ministry rooted in love, Scripture, and personal connection, continues to bear much fruit. Lives are being changed, communities are being reached, and the church in Uganda is being strengthened.

In summary, we give all thanks and glory to God for His faithfulness to ICM Uganda and the ministry work taking place there. From March to June 2025, our hearts are filled with joy as a total of 89 souls came to Christ! We continue to pray and lift high the banner of Christ over Uganda, trusting Him for even greater harvests ahead.
