Revival Among the Manobo Tribe: A Move of God in the Mountains of Mindanao
Deep in the mountains of Mindanao, Philippines, something extraordinary is happening. Among the Manobo tribal communities often distant from urban centers and overlooked by mainstream society a powerful move of God is unfolding. On 28 June 2025, the International Christian Mission (ICM) organized a Tribal Revival Meeting, bringing together indigenous believers for a time of heartfelt worship, fervent prayer, and the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The atmosphere was filled with awe and hunger for God as people gathered, many walking long distances to be part of the meeting. From the youngest children to the elders, there was a deep sense of expectation. One of the most beautiful moments came when the children, full of innocence and sincerity, placed their hands on their hearts and joyfully declared, “Jesus is in my heart.” It was a powerful reminder that the message of Christ is for all ages, and that faith in Him often begins with the simplest of acts.
The revival was not limited to the children. Many youths and adults also responded to the call of salvation, surrendering their lives to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit moved mightily throughout the gathering bringing healing to the sick, freedom to the oppressed, and hope to the brokenhearted. The name of Jesus was lifted high, and the Manobo people experienced His love in personal, tangible ways.
This event was more than a meeting; it was a moment of divine visitation. The Manobo tribe, often living in remote areas with limited access to ministry resources, was reminded that they are not forgotten. God sees them, loves them, and is drawing them to Himself.
The impact of this revival is expected to continue through the lives of those who encountered Jesus. As they return to their families and villages, they carry with them the light of the Gospel, ready to share the love and truth they have received.
Jesus loves and saves every little child, every youth, and every precious person of the Manobo tribe. He is the Savior who reaches the mountaintops and the remotest places bringing life, hope, and transformation.
To God be the glory for what He has begun and may many more tribal communities across the Philippines and beyond encounter His powerful, life-changing love.
