Mission Visit at Ulu Geroh, Perak
On 28 February 2026, a team of four—Corwin, Alvin George, Sharon George, and Mr. George from Kuala Lumpur—traveled to Ulu Geroh for a night of revival.
Upon arrival in Gopeng, the team was received by Pastor Lizune, who led the convoy deeper into the interior. The journey into the jungle took approximately 35 minutes along rough, uneven terrain where paved roads gave way to gravel and earth tracks. Pastor Lizune drove a 4×4 Hilux, which was better suited for the challenging route, while the KL team followed in a Bezza, navigating the difficult conditions carefully. Despite the terrain, the weather remained favorable, with no rain—ensuring a safe journey.
The village of Ulu Geroh presented a peaceful setting, with homes scattered across the landscape. The team was warmly welcomed by the local pastor, Pastor Anis and villagers, many of whom extended friendly smiles and hospitality. Chickens roamed freely throughout the area, adding to the rustic charm of the village. As the visit took place during the month of Ramadan, some children playfully remarked, “Kamu tidak puasa” (“You did not fast”), reflecting the presence of non-Christian families in the community.
Following a meal, preparations were made for the evening service. The revival began at 7:00 PM with praise and worship led by Pastor Lizune’s team. Approximately 55 to 60 people attended, singing wholeheartedly in worship.

After the time of worship, Corwin shared a personal testimony of his father’s recovery and God’s miraculous healing. Alvin George then delivered the message, preaching from the account of the paralytic who was brought to Jesus by four faithful friends. He emphasized perseverance through hardship and challenged the people of Ulu Geroh to remain steadfast in faith as they contended for breakthrough and miracles. The message brought encouragement and stirred the hearts of those present.
During the altar call, approximately 10 individuals came forward for prayer. The evening concluded with fellowship and continued ministry to those in need.
At the end of the service, Pastor Lizune led the convoy out of the village. In total, five vehicles departed, as three additional cars from other parts of Perak had joined the revival gathering. The KL team left Ulu Geroh at approximately 9:00 PM and arrived safely at 11:00 PM after a two-hour journey.
Thanks be to the Lord for His protection, traveling mercies, and faithful provision for all who participated in the revival night.
