Gospel is still advancing

Biker Ministry – The Gospel on the Road

Across the dusty highways of Congo, countless bikers race from village to village. They are always moving. Always working. They have no church to call home, no time to sit in a pew. For many, survival has replaced Sabbath — they must work relentlessly just to earn a living. There is no Sunday service for them; instead, they gather for worship whenever the moment is right, unbound by a fixed day.

These bikers gather wherever they can: roadside corners, marketplaces, open fields. And it is there that our pastors meet them — in their everyday resting place, a simple shelter the bikers call the “baker hut.” Many of these men come from villages torn apart by rebel attacks and war. Some are survivors of unspeakable violence. Some ride back into dangerous territories and never return. Yet even on the roadside, God builds His altar.

Our pastors share the Gospel through stories — stories of Jesus calming storms, healing the broken, laying down His life. And hearts begin to open. Hardened men listen. Many are deeply moved when they hear of a Savior who understands suffering.

This ministry is bearing fruit. Seeds are being planted on the highways of Congo.

Children Evangelism Program – Healing the Fatherless

The conflict has left countless children orphaned. Parents killed. Families shattered. Many of these children once believed that God caused their suffering — that He abandoned them.

They carry trauma in their young hearts. But when ICM team visits them, something beautiful happens.

We counsel them. We sit with them. We speak life over them. We tell them of the goodness of God — of a Father who never leaves nor forsakes His children. They dance. They sing. They rejoice.

When we bring small gifts — sweets, biscuits, simple tokens of love — their faces light up. But greater than the gifts is the truth that God is good. Slowly, their hearts are stabilised. They begin to understand: God did not kill their parents. He is near to the brokenhearted.

The orphan spirit is being replaced with the Spirit of adoption.

Eringeti Mission Work – Preaching in the Shadow of Danger

Eringeti is a dangerous field. Rebels can appear without warning. Every mission trip requires courage and surrender.

But these souls need Jesus.

People live in constant fear, helpless and vulnerable. And if they die without Christ, eternity is at stake. This is why ICM team continues.

We go knowing the risk. We go because heaven is real. We go because the Gospel is worth everything.

Discipleship – Raising a Generation Rooted in Truth

Through the Bible School in a Backpack (BISB) programme, we are witnessing powerful fruit. Classrooms are filled with young people — many university students — hungry for truth. Yet many wrestle with deep questions.

Some turn to philosophy and begin to believe that God abandoned them… that He forgot them when their parents were killed. We teach them boldly: God is sovereign. He has never left us. He has never abandoned His people.

We confront the false teachings of ancestor worship. The dead cannot save. The dead cannot protect.

Jesus is alive. And because He lives, we have hope.

Pygmy Ministry – The Forgotten Reached

(Pygmies are indigenous forest-dwelling communities in Central Africa, often marginalised and living in extreme poverty.)

These communities are often overlooked and isolated. They speak different languages, making outreach challenging. It is difficult for them to receive the Gospel from someone who does not speak their tongue.

But God has raised up Pygmy pastors. These Pygmy pastors had joined ICM Team to serve the Lord.

Though they are married with children and carry their own responsibilities, they labour faithfully serving God among their own people. They are doing a mighty work for the Lord. The needs are overwhelming. Many Pygmy families are extremely poor. Some have no proper shelter. Heavy rains destroy their fragile tents, leaving them to sleep under makeshift coverings.

Please pray that God would raise more Pygmy pastors — labourers for this harvest field. Many are lost and in need of the Truth.

Leadership Conference – Shepherds Strengthened

Servants of God from different churches gathered for a powerful leadership conference. Different styles, different experiences — yet one Lord.

They shared how they model Christ’s servant leadership. Skills were sharpened. Vision was renewed. Hearts were encouraged.

There was a powerful response as leaders committed themselves afresh to shepherd God’s people faithfully.

Mission Efforts in Dangerous Regions

Mungamba

A church planting work is underway in this dangerous region. The people sleep in fear. Some nights they prepare themselves to flee at any moment to save their lives from rebel attacks.

Yet the Church is being built.

Ngadi

Schools and churches were planted. But the region was attacked and destroyed. It became abandoned. But ICM team is preparing for a comeback — to rebuild, to restore, to revive what was broken.

Pasisi Mission

In Pasisi, both Pygmies and non-Pygmies are joining the church. We are witnessing salvations. We see unity where division once lived. God is moving here.
